Automotive history often sees a brands being bought and sold by various other companies.. but Jeep takes this to a whole new level. Not only can we identify 11 different companies which owned or influenced the brand, but many of them did not survive their time with Jeep!
Since its inception in 1941, Jeep has been owned or influenced by American Bantam , Willy-Overland, Frazer Kaiser, Kaiser Jeep, AMC, Renault, Chrysler Corporation, DaimlerChrysler, Cerberus Management Group, Chrysler Group LLC, and finally FCA
