Allon Raiz runs Africa's biggest business incubator (Raizcorp) and is currently invested in over 500 businesses around the world. As a result, he has many fascinating insights around why businesses fail and also why so many businesses struggle to scale.

I recently sat down with Allon and got to ask him a bunch of questions around business and entrepreneurship. My aim is to further improve my own understanding of how to scale as a small business owner myself. In this particular instance, I asked Allon why it is that most small businesses fail to grow.
