April waren zwei von derzeit drei in Deutschland noch betriebfähigen Exemplaren gemeinsam an einem Zug von Ulm zum Bodensee unterwegs: 01 2066 vom Bayerischen Eisenbahnmuseum in Nördlingen und 01 519 der Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn in Rottweil. They are becoming rarer and rarer - the operable express steam locomotives of the class 01. On 29 April, two of currently three still operable examples in Germany were together on a train from Ulm to Lake Constance: 01 2066 from the Bavarian Railway Museum in Nördlingen and 01 519 from the Zollernbahn Railway Friends in Rottweil.
