BMW is updating the M4 lineup for 2025.
In general, much has remained the same, but there are also some innovations.
The new LED headlamp design gives the front of the M4 a more modern look, while the taillights get a new design with laser accents.
The biggest news is that the M4 Competition xDrive Convertible and Coupe will receive 20 additional horsepower.

The base engine for the BMW M4 Coupe and Convertible remains unchanged - it is still an inline six-cylinder 3-liter gasoline engine that produces 480 hp and 550 Nm 406 lb-ft of torque.
The standard M4 coupe with a six-speed manual transmission accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds.

In the Competition version with rear-wheel drive, the same engine is slightly more powerful - 510 hp and 650 Nm 479 lb-ft of torque.
Accelerates to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The all-wheel drive M4 Competition xDrive with 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic has added 20 horsepower. This increased the power output to 530 hp.
The acceleration time to 100 kilometers per hour is 3.5 seconds.

The standard top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h), although the optional M Driver's Package will increase it to 180 mph (290 km/h)

Inside, the new steering wheel has a flat edge and modified spokes, and now it has a special M Alcantara coating for the first time.

BMW's curved display is retained, which includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen located in the center of the dashboard.
The software was updated from version 8.0 to 8.5, with improved voice control for climate functions.

A special feature for all model variants of the BMW M4 Coupé: optional M design graphics for the bonnet and the rear lid.
This contrasting color emphasizes the sporty characteristics of the two-door model and is available in High Gloss Black or High Gloss Red.

Optional steel roof, available at no extra cost, which includes an electrically operated sliding glass roof. The sheet metal part of the roof is finished in glossy black instead of the body color.

With the update of the cars, prices have risen. The cost of the base coupe is $80,000, and the top version of the M4 Competition xDrive costs $89,300.
