THE RISE OF TESLA MODEL 3 IN EUROPE

Tesla's vehicles have been quite successful in Europe. Demand has risen in recent years, particularly since the release of the Model 3 in 2017. EVs currently account for 18 percent of all-electric vehicles in 26 European markets, according to data from JATO Dynamics. Furthermore, 1,268,683 new passenger cars were registered in June 2021, up 13 percent from the previous year. Tesla is one of the companies that has obtained the most market share in the BEV market. The Tesla Model 3 has recently surpassed the BMW 3 Series as Europe's best-selling vehicle. According to the latest numbers from JATO Dynamics, Tesla led the European new car sales charts in September, with a 2.6 percent market share. This is the first time an EV has led the EU market, as well as the first time a vehicle from outside of Europe has taken the top spot.
According to information derived from new car registration data in September 2021, 24,591 Tesla Model 3s were registered in that month. Tesla, on the other hand, didn't just outperform the competition; it completely nailed it. Tesla has achieved exceptional achievements in Europe thanks to a high number of deliveries in the final month of the quarter. Not only that, but for the first time in history, a vehicle built outside of Europe is the best-selling model, signaling another valid concern for the local auto sector. In addition, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Switzerland have accounted for the majority of Tesla's success. Other European markets, such as Norway, have also aided Tesla's expansion. So, what is it about the Tesla Model 3 that makes it so popular in Europe? Let's take a closer look at the highlights of this best-selling EV's features and performance. Stay tuned!

THE TESLA MODEL 3

The Model 3's great performance and affordable cost can be attributed in part to Tesla's intense end-of-quarter sales drive. Tesla CEO Elon Musk was publicly focused on the automaker's objective of providing an EV for $35,000 that more consumers could buy even during the early success of the Model S and Model X. That aim was fulfilled in 2016, when Tesla unveiled its new Model 3 sedan, which debuted on the automaker's third-generation platform, which is now used by both the Model 3 and the Model Y. Looking back on some of the early Model 3 rumors is very amusing. Before the world's eyes were drawn to Tesla's cheapest model, there was a step through the time portal.
Further, Tesla's most affordable model began delivering to customers in July 2017 after garnering over 130,000 reservations in the first 24 hours. It has since surpassed the rest of the market in terms of sales, with a redesign planned for 2021.
