The Airbus plant in Hamburg-Finkenwerder is one of the world's largest locations for modern aircraft construction. 365 days a year around 16,000 workers and engineers produce here in cooperation with other locations in Europe. The backbone of Airbus logistics: the giant cargo-plane Beluga. Around 2,500 wings, cockpits and hulls were transported by Airbus Belugas every year between the eleven factories in Europe. This report gives an insight into the complex workflows in modern aircraft production.
