Subaru's first EV may be controversial to some Subaru fans because it is the result of Subaru's ongoing joint venture with Toyota and shares most of its components with Toyota's BZ4X EV. Subaru however promises that the new Solterra will be a true AWD Subaru with 8.3 inches of ground clearance and a drivetrain that promises to be more off road capable than the average Subaru on sale in America today. There's still quite a bit that we don't know, but in this video I'll talk about what Subaru has released so far.
