My friend Master Ding Ding has studied I Ching (YiJing) for many years. He is good at divination and has a very in-depth study of the Bible. While he is running a semiconductor company, he recently published a groundbreaking theory called "The I Ching comes from the ancient Bible."

In his initial research, he found four hexagrams in the Book of Changes: Li, Kan, Huan and Dazhuang. Three of these four hexagrams are biblical stories, and the other is a biblical psalm. The story includes the famous Exodus of Moses from Egypt.

Back to King Wen of Zhou, the founder of Hexagram 64 of the Book of Changes, he was imprisoned in Youli prison by King Zhou of Shang Dynasty. He can tell stories from the ancient Western Bible hundreds of years ago, and embed them into the incomprehensible hexagrams and lines in a nearly code-like manner. Is this just a matter of chatting with the jailer, or is he actually seeing these scenes?

There are 64 hexagrams in the Book of Changes. The hexagrams were written by King Wen, and the six lines of each hexagram were compiled by his fourth son Zhou Gongdan. In order to translate the hexagrams into words that ordinary people could use and actions they could follow after divination, Duke Zhou often used lines to record historical stories. For example, the lines of the Xiaowu hexagram describe the story of King Wu's defeat of Zhou. I hope these stories can encourage future generations and have a basis for divination, just like reading history and philosophy textbooks, so that they can learn from the past and understand the future.

But how could these stories describe the ancient biblical record of Moses leaving Egypt and crossing the Red Sea, thousands of miles away? Are Chinese and Western cultures actually connected? In other words, can the prophets travel freely in time and space without any hindrance? Master Tintin accurately pointed out the correlation, but has not yet found out the reason.

We don't understand the Book of Changes, but we know the allusion of "Dream of Zhou Gong". Confucius once said that he no longer dreamed of Duke Zhou when he got old, but this was not actually a sigh of aging, but a pun.

Dreaming about Duke Zhou means that Duke Zhou is the master of the dream. If everyone's dreams are related to Zhou Gong, how could he not know what is happening at any time and anywhere in the world? If he collected 64 of the world's most classic stories in his dream and placed them in corresponding lines, then wouldn't the I Ching be a treasure book that all humans should learn? So can we say that all the characters in the Bible actually had conversations with Duke Zhou in dreams and received interviews from Duke Zhou.

Why are the hexagrams and lines of the 64 hexagrams of the Book of Changes written like a code, which is not only classical but also obscure, causing countless Yi scholars to stop thinking about it until thousands of years later, Master Ding Ding finally knocked on the door to decipher it?

King Wen of Zhou told Duke Zhou that because this book was sent from prison and could be seen by both the enemy and ourselves, it must be expressed in some kind of code. This is like the code war between the US military and Germany and Japan in World War II. Therefore, the I Ching is difficult to understand. The reason for compiling such an accessible story from the ancient Bible into complex classical Chinese is not to show off one's literary attainments, but to avoid decryption masters like Daji and prevent Shang Zhou from burning books and banning them. into the hands of the common people.

Master Tintin explained the stories of the 4 hexagrams in the Bible and published the first collection. I hope that he will use his knowledge and insight to master both the East and the West, the past and the present, and continue his efforts to decipher all the remaining hexagrams, so that all the inspiring stories and the mysterious links between the East and the West will finally come to light.
