The 50/50 Margarita was created in New York by Natasha Bermudez. Natasha split the base of the margarita between mezcal and manzanilla sherry resulting in a lower ABV version of the classic.

The mezcal margarita has smoke and vegetal notes whilst the manzanilla sherry adds a touch of salinity and minerality. It also dries and lengthens the margarita on the palate.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz (30 ml) mezcal, espadin
- 1 oz (30 ml) manzanilla sherry
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Cointreau
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) lime juice
- 0.25 oz (7.5 ml) agave syrup
- worm salt (or smoked chile salt)

Smoked Chile Salt
- 1 part Tajinchile lime seasoning (https://amzn.to/43Lf9L8)
- 1 part paprika
- 1 part salt
