What's the big deal about truth?
Every group today--from political parties to religious organizations to online influencers--claims to know the truth. But when every truth they claim is different, how can we know what is truly true? And is it even important to know the truth in the first place?
This week for our Baptism Service, John Stephens shared a message on the Truth from John chapter 8. We looked at how truth relates to belief and discipleship and a saving faith. And we dug into the importance of what it means to know the truth, live the truth, and share the truth, the truth that is ultimately wrapped up in Jesus Christ.
