I start my walk today from an area full of new tall buildings. This new architecture represents how far Warsaw has come. Now that I've seen the new, I also want to see what the Old part of Warsaw was like. On my way I pass a fragment of the wall which surrounded the Old Warsaw Jewish Ghetto. It's a solemn reminder of what happened during the war. Next on to the Old Town, where I started to enjoy the beauty of Old Warsaw. These buildings were meticulously reconstructed after WWII. They have done a great job of rebuilding this part of Warsaw. The old buildings, which are so colorful and bright. I came to the Old Town Square, which is the beating heart of this part of Warsaw. So much activity here, children playing and laughing. Foreigners and Poles enjoying the beautiful Plaza. Later I went by the Royal Castle and the Castle Square. There is also tons of life here, maybe more than the Old Town Square. I finish of my tour with a visit to the Presidential Palace of Poland. A thrilling day in Warsaw.
