In this video, we walk through our process for adding an attractive set of industrial-looking shelves for the brick wall of our patio using 1/2” black iron pipe and 2x6 treated lumber.

For around $50, we were able to give ourselves a place to mount a sound bar and subwoofer, but the possibilities are endless as to how you could use these. Aside from our use as a patio entertainment center, this idea would make a nice mantle or book shelf for those lucky folks who have exposed brick to use inside their homes.

Our process includes how we added an optional coat of stain on the wooden shelves.
