Our osteopath Ashley Ridout gives his opinion on why people develop chronic low back pain and he gives you the exercises that he finds to be the most effective in fixing these issues.

Ashley believes that most people he sees have chronic low back pain because they develop tightness in the muscles around the lower back, hips and hamstrings.

This tightness prevents many people from functioning correctly and instead makes them over work their lower backs causing more chronic tightness and low back pain.

In order to fix the lower back pain you need to loosen up the hips, glutes and hamstrings as well as focussing on the lower back.
