Through MAPS’ Client Based Productions program, high school youth contribute their creative skills in videography and visual media to help regional nonprofit partners like Headwaters Foundation and A VOICE-Art Vision & Outreach In Community Education continue to make a positive community impact.

In 2023, MAPS collaborated with Headwaters Foundation to produce an inspirational video series spotlighting recipient organizations of their GO! grant program, including the Flathead Nation-based nonprofit A VOICE-Art Vision & Outreach In Community Education located in western Montana. These feature stories provide invaluable visibility for GO! grant awardees while helping youth flex their technical abilities and gain real-world media production experience. The project is a win-win - supporting youth with opportunities to build their skills by producing meaningful stories that elevate the missions of regional partners like those supported by the Headwaters Foundation.

The primary goal of A VOICE-Art Vision & Outreach In Community Education is to foster excitement and confidence in youth who may not otherwise have this opportunity. They hope that the skills and self-confidence nurtured in literary and visual arts learning will provide tools for young people to aid them in their decisions and endeavors to guide them toward success.
