Growth stocks need to be thought about differently, because they possess powerful attributes than their more ordinary cousins do not. Even though this is true, the underlying principles of valuation will still apply even to growth stocks.

Just like any stock, growth stocks receive their value from the amount of cash flows it can generate on behalf of its stakeholders. Because of the high velocity of their earnings growth rates, true growth stocks will generate future streams of income that are multiples larger than those of the ordinary or average company.
