We were asked to re-paint the roof raidus and cap of this 2004 Winnebago Vectra. In order to do a good job, I had to remove the old sealant. That's when the trouble started.

Here is a good study that shows how Winnebago's interlocking sidewall and roof radius can fail. The cove/radius was too short from day one. It is barely tucked into the roog gutter/rail especially at the middle of the sidewall. This is why it's very important to inspect your roof annually and re-seal the cove/radius if needed. The clear sealant Proflex does tend to withstand the sun and age much better than the white Manus urethane used on non-painted Winnebago sidewalls.

As a bonus, I show the common problem with Winnbago's front fiberglass caps.

Thanks for watching!!
