This is the full-spec version of Perodua's latest crossover, the Ativa AV. It was co-developed and is closely related to the Daihatsu Rocky and Toyota Raize. The Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) underpins this vehicle and it is powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine (1KR-VET), which sends power to the front wheels via a D-CVT which takes off like a conventional CVT, but shares its load with a conventional gear system when it starts moving.
