Part 1 of the weird space series where a giant worm guy takes over the world, has got a lot going on for only telling half of the story of the first book so whether you know the way of the Golden Path or just found out about the people of Arrakis, let’s take a look at some of the things you may have missed or didn’t notice in the latest adaptation and there’s gonna be spoilers for a lot so brace yourself.
I’ll be honest, after watching this movie and not knowing anything about the franchise, I didn’t like it. Paul was boring, it was difficult to care about anyone because there’s barely any character development or any likable characters and I hate when movies end on an “This is only the beginning” style cliffhanger but after having to research way more than I would’ve liked since the franchise is so dense, I think I kinda like the franchise now. I still think it’s dumb to not have a functional end to a movie but hey they didn’t give me 165 million dollars to make a movie so what do I know. Oh and something something outro about things you missed. Gotta make sure I fill my quotas for basic YouTube standards.
