Ever Wonder How Much Money your Favorite Youtuber’s Get PAID?

In this video, I will tell you how youtubers get paid on the YouTube platform, how much I specifically get paid and compare it to how much other creators get paid.

When it comes to getting ad revenue on the YouTube platform it self, the only thing that matters is the amount of views you receive. The metic that determines how much you make after YouTube takes their cut is called RPM. Revenue Per Mille or RPM is the metric that tells you how much creators make per 1k views. Some niches get paid higher RPM’s then others, for example finance is one of the higher paying niches on YouTube vs beauty which has a much lower RPM.

The formula to figure out how much creators get paid is (RPM X 1K Views = Total Pay)

There are several other ways creators get paid such as amazon Affiliates. Amazon Affiliates is a program youtubers can use to advertise products from Amazon on their channel by creating custom links to products they use in their videos. When viewers click the links and buy products we earn a small commission on those products which is usually about 3 percent for the products in my niche (lawn care).

Other ways creators get paid are through paid sponsorships directly through companies. These types of deals can be a great passive source of income for creators as well. When people think of YouTube sponsors, they usually think only large channels are able to secure them. But I can tell you from past experience, that’s not the case. I landed my first paid sponsorship when I only had 1k subscribers. Just make sure you bring your A game and I promise you will get noticed in your niche.
