This is just one step to a future where we don’t have to be stuck to a computer operating with toothpick menu navigation just to do simple activities like scheduling events, writing docs, or browsing.

Why does it take me sitting down at a computer, clicking through tabs and windows, combing through drop down menus to do something as basic as scheduling an event? Well, user interfaces haven’t changed that much since the 1990s. Sure UIs have cool animations now, but it’s really just a reskinned version of the same UX paradigm: jumping between fragmented apps, clicking little boxes on a screen.

Our future shouldn’t be in front of our computers, it should be grounded in the real world.
