Douglas Allen Schuch, a 65-year-old resident of the Philippines (USA National) who was having mobility issues and hip pain, had been advised to have a hip replacement by his local physicians. He was open to making the trip to India to get the surgery. At that point, he made the decision to speak with an orthopedic specialist and to seek treatment at the Artemis Hospital. Mr. Douglas Allen Schuch arrived in India on 18 April 2022 and underwent bilateral total hip replacement surgery while hospitalized for seven days.
