Ten years ago we graduated from UC Berkeley with an idea to bring electric bikes to the San Francisco Bay Area. We had a home built website, a trailer, and soon a consignment of a few electric bikes. Thousands of happy ebike riders later, The New Wheel is quite a different company. This "extended cut" version features more interviews with team members, partners, customers and community leaders.
