Anyone can rent a pontoon boat at Disney World and drive around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake - alone! We rented ours from the Grand Floridian and explored Seven Seas Lagoon, including the Polynesian Bungalows, Magic Kingdom Entrance, Electrical Water Pageant, and the abandoned Polynesian Wave Machine.

This experience is $45 per half hour and we'd recommend at least an hour, especially if you want to explore both lakes. You are allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks onto the boat and can include up to ten people!

We weren't able to go to Bay Lake this time due to a storm, but if you can venture over there, highly recommend checking out the abandoned Discovery Island as well!
