After months of waiting since it rolled out in the US, we are finally seeing the 'new' Fire TV interface rolling out in Ireland, and, for most users, on older devices such as the 2nd Gen Fire TV Stick. While the interface is cleaner and much more easy to navigate, Amazon still have not addressed some of the main issues preventing this from being really usable in Ireland and some of the restrictions preventing it from competing properly with an Android TV device,

In this video I quickly look at some of the updates and changes and discuss some of the challenges that still exist even with this big refresh. From Prime Video not playing to the generally sluggish interface on older devices, is it really going to change my love / hate relationship with the Fire devices?
