God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. The proud person is confident in their own ability, and they do not rely on God’s grace. Pride was the sin of Lucifer and the fallen angels. Humility is when we stop thinking of ourselves and we start submitting to God. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up!
