Power Remodeling is one of the most successful remodeling companies in the United States. A tree hit the chimney on this home. This video was made after we discovered these awesome windows and the window PVC aluminum coil wraps on the trim were installed over horribly dilapidated masonite siding. These wraps and the windows will have to be removed to replace the rotted siding. The point is that these windows should not have been installed into rotted siding. The job went south when the salesman sold the job, usually, a project manager or window installer would catch something like this before the windows were installed. It's not unusual to do, 1,2, or 3 sides of a home and come back in a year or two after the customer gets the siding replaced. Now the homeowner has to bear the burden of paying to get the windows and wraps removed and reinstalled when the siding gets replaced. Sometimes we goof up! Salesmen should know this was a bad idea, installers should have thrown the salesperson under the bus. It would be great if Power would offer to R&R these windows and wraps when the siding gets replaced. Power is an excellent company and I'm sure that this is a very rare occurrence. People at Power know better!
