Inside The $3 Million Cirrus Vision Jet G2+ Private Jet

Intro
Cirrus Aircraft has unveiled a re-imagined Vision Jet, the Cirrus Vision Jet G2+. The aircraft features optimized engine performance for expanded mission capabilities and Gogo InFlight WiFi for a connected cabin experience. Bold and new colorways for added ramp presence were also added to the Cirrus Vision Jet G2+. This aircraft is another demonstration of the company's dedication to relentless innovation.

Evolution
With its spacious pilot and passenger-friendly cabin featuring panoramic windows, reclining seats, comfortable legroom for five adults and two children, and the only turbine aircraft with a whole airframe parachute system as standard equipment, the Cirrus Vision Jet defined a new category in aviation when it debuted in 2016: the personal jet.
Cirrus announced the debut of the G2 Vision Jet in early 2019, with improved performance, comfort, and safety. Increased cruising altitude, speed, and range were among the evolutionary characteristics, as was a newly improved Perspective Touch+ by Garmin flight deck. In addition to the enhancements, the G2 Vision Jet now has various unique innovations, including a category-first Autothrottle, Flight Stream connection, and more.
The Vision Jet evolved further with the certification of Safe Return Emergency Autoland by the Federal Aviation Administration and, most recently, the European Aviation Safety Agency, a revolutionary system that allows passengers to land the Vision Jet with the touch of a button in emergency situations. Garmin's Autoland technology, which enables Safe Return, was recently given the Collier Trophy by the National Aeronautic Association, which had previously been awarded to Cirrus Aircraft for the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System on the Vision Jet. The Vision Jet delivers the most comprehensive, must-have overall safety solution in general aviation, with the distinguished award-winning combo of Safe Return and CAPS.
In addition, VisionAir, a unique ownership scheme for the Vision Jet, was unveiled in 2020. VisionAir is a turnkey program that covers everything needed to own, operate and maintain a Vision Jet, making the reality of owning the world's first Personal Jet more accessible than ever.

Re-Imagined Designs for an Enhanced Ramp Presence
New hues, including striking additions such as Titan Grey, Volt, and Bimini Blue, combine revised design lines that highlight the characteristic curvature of the Vision Jet's carbon fiber fuselage for an unmistakable presence on the ramp, runway, or in the air. From the outside, the pilot and passengers enter a very spacious interior created around the biggest cabin in its class, with luxury leather, bolstered seats, noise suppression, and an immersive experience made possible by the Vision Jet's distinctive panoramic windows.

Better Cabin Experience
There are three distinct seating arrangements available in the cabin, which may accommodate up to five people and two children. The Executive model includes broader seats in the third and fifth sitting positions. The more typical Family layout features three cabin seats with two optional kid seats for a total of seven (including the pilot and copilot), whereas the Complete seat arrangement combines executive and family seats, as well as a center console with folding tray tables. The quality and finish of the G2's interior just appear to be superior. Cirrus improved the carpets and added minor but significant conveniences, such as kangaroo bags in front of each seat to carry a smartphone and a side pouch to accommodate an iPad. For passenger entertainment, the airplane has a 22-inch drop-down LED monitor overhead. There are the customary USB connections, decent interior illumination, and rear-cabin environmental controls. Cirrus worked hard in the cockpit to make the transition from the SR22 cockpit as smooth as possible.

Optimized Performance for Expanded Possibilities
The Vision Jet is a flexible single-engine jet that can adapt to the specific demands of business and personal travel missions. The Williams FJ33-5A engine has been fine-tuned for the G2+ Vision Jet, with a newly optimized thrust profile that gives up to 20% more performance during takeoff. The optimized performance complements the expanded flight envelope to FL310, which was introduced with the G2 Vision Jet in 2019, providing enhanced performance to increase range, carry more, and enjoy added reassurance in hot temperatures and high elevations – allowing access to additional airports at popular destinations around the world.
