On this episode we have Emmanuel talking to us about being a Father of two girls but being unable to see his 1st born as much as he would like due to covid restrictions. He explains the relationship he has with his Father and how a nuclear unit is a social construct.

He speaks on the connections he has with his children and how he goes about teaching them consent from early on and treating them like small adults. He talks about being big on community and the importance of a village raising a child. He mentions being able to facilitate the needs of his children the best way he can.

He gives advice to upcoming Fathers about the importance of having a healthy relationship with the Mother of their child/children. He shares his fear of boys when his daughters become teenagers.

He believes that 2 weeks Paternity leave for fathers is not enough and the system does not provide support for fathers who may need assistance. He explains that new and current Fathers are not given opportunities to financial aid and mental support.
