woke up to cooler temperatures and a skiff of fresh snow. it was a shop day making the new big exhaust pipes for the TD-18 IH Cat known as Blaine. the factory exhaust stacks give a tinny sound when recording. so we hoped bigger exhaust pipes like on the other TD-18 IH Crawler know as Dually would help. to our surprise, we got the correct sounds when we fired up the motor but too bad we have no snow to test out the sounds on the cat train trails pulling sleighs. my 9th book "Blew it Up" in my winter-ice road book series which explains blowing up the rearends in the Screaming Ford that gave my 15 seconds of fame on Ice Road Truckers on History almost 10 years ago. it was Johnny G that helped me get the Screaming Ford back to the Kingdom with Thor the Plow Truck.
