Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy Burçin Mutlu-Pakdil has won recognition for her work as an observational astrophysicist, focusing on the nature of dark matter and the formation of galaxies. But she’s also working to expand the voices in the field, collaborating with other scientists from underrepresented backgrounds and bringing their insights and passion to the table.
