Meet 15 year old, Gitanjali Rao and 14 year old Anika Chebrolu…. Gitanjali’s a high school sophomore from Colorado you may have heard of her or even seen her because she was selected as TIME Magazine’s first-ever Kid of the Year and featured right smack dab on the front cover. Gitanjali has been celebrated for her work using technology to tackle issues ranging from contaminated drinking water to cyberbullying.

And meet Anika a high school freshman from Texas who won the 2020 3M Young Scientist of the year challenge. As the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies race to find treatments for the novel coronavirus, Anika had been working for months on a potential treatment in her bedroom and Her groundbreaking discovery could lead to a cure for Covid-19.
