What is Subaru Reverse Automatic Braking? How does Subaru Reverse Automatic Braking work? Subaru Reverse Automatic Braking explained.
Like having eyes in the back of your head, Subaru Reverse Automatic Braking senses objects behind your Subaru when backing up at a low speed and applies the brakes when necessary. So if you can’t see an object behind you or you’re trying to squeeze into a tight spot, you’ll have less to worry about. Four ultra-sonic sensors are attached to the rear bumper to allow for detection of unseen objects when reversing. When an object is detected, the Rear Obstruction Warning sounds will alert the driver of an obstacle. If the vehicle continues to move, automatic braking will be applied.
