Take a journey through 4,000 years of art across Spain and Latin America.

From ceramics by the Bell Beaker culture from around 2400 BC, to sun-dazzled studies of 20th-century Spain by Joaquín Sorolla, our landmark exhibition charts the history of the Spanish-speaking world through 150 artworks.

Join RA curator Adrian Locke and Director of the Hispanic Society Museum and Library, Guillaume Kientz.our curators to hear about some of the highlights.

Founded in New York in 1904, the Hispanic Society Museum & Library is home to the most extensive collection of Spanish art outside of Spain. Presented for the first time in the UK, it offers visitors a chance to trace the great diversity of cultures and religions – from Celtic to Islamic, Jewish and Christian – that have shaped and enriched what we today understand as Spanish culture.
