Everybody has a cell phone today, but they obviously don't work all the time, especially in rural areas. If you want global phone service where there is no cell service, you have to go with a satellite phone. There are several satellite services out there, most notably Iridium, Inmarsat, and Globalstar. They all work a bit differently, so I go over the advantages and disadvantages of each. I also go over the price of satellite phones, coverage, and more.
