The Honda HSM1336 snow blower is one of the brand's most advanced model. It features hybrid technology that sets it apart from other snow blowers available on the market. A unknow feature is called the Battery Run mode! Activate the battery run mode to propel the snow blower in case the engine fails to start.

Battery Run Mode:

When the main shift lever is in any position other than N (neutral), the drive control warning indicator (orange) will flash, preventing the initiation of the battery run mode, even if the right and left steering levers are simultaneously squeezed for about 3 seconds.

Follow these steps to engage the battery run mode:

1. Set the main shift lever to the N (neutral) position.
2. Release the drive clutch lever, placing it in the STOP position.
3. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
4. Simultaneously squeeze the right and left steering levers for approximately 3 seconds.

Upon squeezing the levers, both the drive control warning indicator (red) and the drive control warning indicator (orange) will flash. Release both steering levers, then squeeze the drive clutch lever when the indicators blink. This ensures a smooth transition into the battery run mode.

Model tested: Honda HSM1336iCTD CAD $9,149 / Honda HSM1336i USD $9,299
