Ya'll this chocolate cake is the bomb! If you have been searching for a moist chocolate cake recipe, then look no further. For some reason, chocolate cake has always been intimidating to me, so I've put off trying to make it. I know, it sounds as crazy typing as it does saying. Lol! However, it's the truth. This recipe was very easy to follow, but I did make some modifications that I will list down below; however, fill free to follow the exact recipe. I'm sure it's great as is.

Modifications I made:
In place of warm water, I used hot/warm instant coffee.
2 heaping Tbsp of instant coffee in 1.5 cups of hot water

For the cream cheese frosting, I used heavy cream in place of milk to think out the icing and I kept adding 1 tbsp at a time until I reached my desired thinness.

Note****I recommend using three 9" cake pans for 3 layers instead of 2 layers.
