26th - 28th May 2023 saw the South Devon Railway host their annual Spring Rails & Ales Festival.
The event saw a mixture of both steam and diesel traction, with motive power provide by British Rail Class 33 Bo-Bo, 33002 'Sea King', GWR 4575 Class 'Prairie' 2-6-2T, No.5526 and Ex-GWR 5700 Class 'Pannier' 0-6-0PT, No.5786 - in the final few days of her current boiler ticket, which expires 31st May.
Filmed during a flying visit on a glorious Saturday 27th, we is all locomotives in action working trains between from various locations between Buckfastleigh and Totnes, as they meander along the river Dart.
