KTRK Houston Channel 13 special on Hurricane Alicia. Alicia made landfall on 8/18/1983 as a category 3 hurricane and swept through the Houston metro, causing localized flooding and its high winds blowing windows out of skyscrapers downtown.

This TV special was broadcast 10 years later, and I am posting this on YouTube on the 40 year anniversary of the day of landfall.

In a perhaps intentional or just ironic twist, much of the background music is from a personal favorite song of mine, Jacob's Ladder by Rush. It has weather-themed lyrics and the cover of the album it comes from, Permanent Waves, shows a scene of a hurricane making landfall.
