Race 2 Win - BARC South East Modified Saloons - Brands Hatch GP - 05/08/2018 - , in our Genuine Australian V8 Supercar (TMS001, with VF conversion)


Only a video from race 2 of our last outing. Unfortunately the car developed a missfire in qualifying, which meant Alex just had to nurse the car round for 3 compulsory laps. With less than an our until the first race there wasn't the time to find the issue and fix it. Race 2 was not until the end of the day so we had more than enough time to try and be ready for that.

We changed over several parts but unable to load the car up to see if the missfie had gone we went to the grid no knowing how it would fair.

We thought we would be starting right at the back of a 28 car grid but as there was two championships in the same race we were actually put on the tenth row at the back of the back of the Modified Saloons.

Alex pulled away from the grid for the warm up lap and it was instantly clear from the loud growl that the issue was fixed.

Taking it easy into the first corner to stay out of trouble Alex the started picking his way through the cars in front and by lap four had put himself in 1st place, whch is where he statyed until the chequered flag.

As you will see from the video Alex isn't flat out or hard on it, he literally drove it as fast as he needed to, with quite abit left in reserve.
