Good morning! Today I read the personal story, 'A Late Start,' from the AA Big book. This is a story of a woman whose drinking didn't take off until well into adulthood. Through a divorce, death of a child, and death of her second spouse, she continued an upward trajectory in her career, as well as her alcoholism. It wasn't until after her retirement that she finally had to deal with it. Her struggle through her resistance, with the help of the fellowship she found is amazing.
