Nissan Altima Review 2020 - Sticker price of $25k, is the Altima worth that? Let us know your thought in the commensts below while we review the 2020 Altima

The Altima is one of a select few mid-size family sedans that offers all-wheel drive, which may appeal to drivers in the Snow Belt. Useful technology features include standard push-button start, remote start, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Nissan's ProPilot Assist system, which helps manage steering and vehicle speed in certain driving conditions, is available.

The 2020 Nissan Altima is a good value and offers a lot of safety tech, and it also has good EPA-estimated gas mileage, with certain versions nearly hitting 40 mpg on the highway. That said, cabin shortcomings include small seat cushions, inconsistent materials and not a lot of storage space in the Altima.

Redesigned last year (2020), the five-seat Altima is Nissan's mid-size sedan. It comes in five trim levels – S, SR, SV, SL and the range-topping Platinum – and can have front- or all-wheel drive. The base engine is a 188-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder, while a unique variable-compression turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 236 hp (248 hp on premium gas) is also available. Both engines work with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The Altima faces competition from the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Hyundai Sonata.

Yes, the 2020 Nissan Altima is a good midsize car. It's a great commuter car that has two capable engine options, great fuel economy estimates, and a gentle ride. Its seats are highly comfortable too. However, some of its rivals are roomier and feel more engaging from behind the wheel.Jul 24, 2020
