Prepare to see Freddy Krueger holding a menu and the likes of Hellraiser's 'Pinhead' to be keeping a beady eye as you sip your coffee at Gateshead's newest cafe The Rested Ghoul.

What's described as the region's first horror-theme cafe has taken over one of the old railway arches in Wellington Street at the end of the High Level Bridge where its transformation has not failed to catch the attention of passers-by, thanks to a spooky front window display including the likes of a tombstone, a skeleton and a Gremlin.
