Eddie Van Halen's Lamborghini Miura is famous for its use in Van Halen's Panama song. We were lucky enough to be able to purchase the car from him several years ago and collaborated with Lamborghini Polo Storico to fully restore it in honor of Eddie's specifications. In September we traveled to the factory and took delivery of this 4-year project in the best way possible. The Van Halen Miura joined 26 other vintage Lamborghinis for a Lamborghini 60th Anniversary rally around northern Italy, then back down through the Italian countryside to the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. This was an extremely emotional reunion as I was able to finally meet Ingrid, who was Ferruccio Lamborghini's personal assistant, and who also served as my father's point of contact for many years to buy parts and visit the factory. Extremely grateful, and extremely emotional!
