“I don’t want to be a career homeless person.” Rabbit, 23, is homeless and has an addiction to fentanyl and other opioids. He was given a camera phone and captured a day in his life.

UPDATE: Peter Saunders a.k.a “Rabbit” died in early November 2019. If you or anyone you know is in crisis visit this resource to find out where you can get help: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canad...

Warning: Some scenes in this video may be disturbing to some viewers.

This short film is part of a series called Red Button, a revolutionary approach to storytelling where doc subjects become filmmakers. Participants were given camera phones, audio and video gear to film themselves and document their everyday lives.
