The Original Purple mattress is a classic blend of foam and Purple’s patented hyper-elastic polymer grid. It has exceptional cooling performance, moderate to high sinkage depth, low motion transfer, fast response, high bounce, and excellent pressure relief.

The biggest strike against Purple is the edge support. It’s just not great no matter what way you slice it.
