The 2024 Toyota C-HR is an upcoming compact crossover SUV that will be revealed on June 26, 2023. It is the second generation of the eye-catching C-HR model that was introduced in 2018. The new C-HR will offer both hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, as well as a bold design and advanced technologies.
The new C-HR is based on the Prologue concept car that was showcased in 2022. The concept featured a futuristic design with a wide grille, C-shaped LED headlights, retractable door handles, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear with an illuminated logo. The new C-HR is expected to closely resemble the concept, with some minor changes for production.
The new C-HR will also feature a range of powertrains, including a regular hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. The plug-in hybrid version will be the first for the C-HR model and will offer a longer electric range and lower emissions than the standard hybrid. The new C-HR could also be offered in pure electric guise in the future, to rival the Kia Niro EV.
The new C-HR will go on sale later this year, with first deliveries due in early 2024. The new C-HR is likely to cost from around £35,000 in regular hybrid guise and from around £40,000 in plug-in hybrid guise. The new C-HR will compete with popular rivals such as the Kia Niro, Nissan Juke, Hyundai Kona and Honda Jazz.
