Sometimes the best trips in the Philippines are those unexpected ones...

Bret and I decided to turn off the highway as we were leaving Sipalay City, and found ourselves stumbling upon a hidden paradise! Campomanes Bay is a clean section of ocean nestled under limestone cliffs, and surrounded by coconut trees! Turns out the bay also had a simple beach area. Next to that beach was an amazing dive resort called "Bugana" run by a very friendly Swiss man Marcus and his Filipina wife Eva Rose.

This whole area of Negros was simply beautiful! And once we rented some snorkels from Bugana Beach and Dive Resort... we soon realized the area is also an underwater paradise!

Have you been to Sipalay!? IT IS VERY MUCH WORTH THE EXTRA DRIVE!

So many unexpected hidden Philippines paradises around this part of Negros!
