If we told you there was an elephant outside our hotel window ready to eat her breakfast, would you believe us? In this video we take a 1 hour drive into the gorgeous mountains of Chiang Mai where we actually got to spend time with the most beautiful gentle giants!

We were really impressed with the hospitality and friendly staff at this resort who assisted us with valuable information about the elephants. Did you know that they eat around 300kg per day? Thats like over 7 Shev’s! LOL. Please note this sanctuary does NOT promote elephant riding! They are such happy elephants who receive wonderful care, all they want is love, hugs and loads of BANANAS! We will not forget this experience which felt like a once in a lifetime moment! Thank you to Chiang Mai elephant friends for hosting us!
