Its no exaggeration to say that the Tesla Model 3 changed the EV world significantly when it was first introduced back in 2019. Here was an electric car that could stand comparison with the very best ICE cars in the same class and be justifiably bought as an alternative with little compromises. But of course since then the game has moved on, and more competitors have emerged, many being better than the Tesla. So the Model 3 returns in very heavily revised for 2024 to take on the new upstarts who have muscled in on what was very much the car's own territory.
