Professional therapist/psychodynamic counsellor breaks down and provides analysis of the first therapy scene from Good Will Hunting. Will's (Matt Damon) and Sean's (Robin Williams) meeting and first session together, culminating in the iconic "I will end you" threat. This is my first in the series of counselling explained or therapy explained videos. Whilst Good Will Hunting is obviously just a film that's not 100% realistic, there's still a lot to draw from it.

My Little Thought Tree is my channel for drawing out the deeper meaning and emotion in film, TV, and the world at large through relaxed, analytical video essays. I am a professional counsellor and often draw on my psychology and therapy background to better understand characters, themes, and emotion in fiction. I upload every Saturday and occasionally on Tuesdays, if I'm feeling productive.

This video is a reupload of the original video which actually came out of a long comment I wrote on the youtube video: Good Will Hunting | 'I Will End You' (HD) - Matt Damon, Robin Williams | MIRAMAX.
